How We Put Your Donations to Work
The SPCS makes an impact in your community by building partnerships, growing community, performing research and building capacity to make positive change and social impact in 21 sectors. See below for some of the projects that we’ve completed with your support:
- Created the first urban community farm in Sudbury, Ontario in the Flour Mill area.
- Increased access to food through a food security mapping project, community kitchens, food sovereignty collaboratives, fair food markets and food share programs.
- Invested in the city’s arts and culture by creating a youth street art project partnering with We Live Up Here and GSU.
- Improved tenants experiences in social housing with a tenants safety group.
