On any given day, the Social Planning Council of Sudbury can be found gathering data and bringing people together to solve tough social issues.

We work in partnership with individuals, community agencies, government, business, and the health and educational sectors to improve quality of life for all residents of Greater Sudbury. Our work in the community is visible in many different ways. Beyond research, we’re at the table and on the ground understanding and finding solutions to issues that affect our community.

We are committed to working with community partners to enhance the well being of individuals, families and communities.

To bring people together to facilitate a planning process that leads to positive change and community action.

Our work is accomplished through community development methods that include research, dialogue, networking, social policy advocacy and community education.
